The kids and I went to a cookie decorating event at work this week. It's a great little event to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation of Oregon. The kids get a box filled with a dozen cookies, frosting, and a variety of sprinkles. I think the kids frosted about 3 cookies and then started eating the sprinkles. Hot chocolate was served, so the kids ended up in sugar heaven.

Santa dropped by for a visit. Alex chatted Santa up and asked for a fire truck and some Christmas shades (sunglasses).

Madeline was a little more cautious with Santa. She never told him what she'd like for Christmas. I later asked why, and Madeline replied, "I want to be surprised on Christmas!"
