Madeline came up with the title for this post from the BIG slugs that we saw on our hike this morning. The one pictured here next to Madeline's hand was the smallest of the 4 slugs; the others were at least 6 inches long.
We all managed to get a decent night's sleep, so we headed out to Fitton Green for a hike after breakfast. The kids weren't thrilled about the prospect of hiking, but Mom and Dad were glad to get out and do something different. BOB the Stroller came along and ended up giving both kids a ride off and on during our excursion.
As you can see, it was a very foggy morning so we didn't get the usual views of Mary's Peak.
We found a bit of snow left over from the dusting earlier this week.
