Alex has been seizure-free for one year today! He has had four rounds of significant fever without seizing, so we are hopeful that he is done with the febrile seizures. I am cautiously optimistic as the doctor says Alex needs to go 2-3 years without a seizure before the medical world would consider that he has outgrown them. And I have a co-worker whose son went a year and half between febrile seizures. So we will still keep Alex's medical kit with emergency prescriptions on hand, and we will continue with his diet and Chinese herbs. We are grateful that our sweet little boy is doing so well!
